If you want to focus on getting your words onto the virtual page and nothing else, they are your best option. Markdown editors are stripped-back distraction-free writing apps. While there are no versions for Android or iOS, that may change. It’s possible to run Typora on a Chromebook. Windows and Linux users who want to simplify writing have fewer options.
